Quick Coupling Valve
The Quick Coupling Valve (also known as polymeric/plastic sprinkler valve) is an essential component in any classic sprinkler irrigation system. Made from high-grade polypropylene and polyacetal, it delivers:
- Excellent resistance to sunlight (UV), chemicals and corrosion
- Nominal working pressure of 6 bar

Applications
The Vispar Quick Coupling Valve is the most widely used fitting in classic and semi-portable sprinkler irrigation systems. It enables fast, tool-free connection of the sprinkler riser to the lateral (aluminium or polyethylene) line. Farmers simply insert the riser into the valve to start irrigation; removing or closing the valve instantly stops the water flow.
How It Works
The valve is engineered with precision bushings, O-rings and seals that guarantee 100% leak-free performance in both open and closed positions. The stainless-steel spring ensures reliable closing force and exceptional corrosion resistance, delivering trouble-free operation season after season.
Important tip: When the valve is not in use, always insert the protective plug/cap to prevent dirt, sand or debris from entering and damaging the internal mechanism.
